Clinic

Figure 1. Example Project

The project clinic analyzed in this example has been developed using a federation with three models (Clinic_S, Clinic_A, and Clinic_Mechanical), within the Uniformat classification system.

The key points for organizing this project are:

  • Substructure:

    • Foundation footing (A1010110) and Foundation walls (A1010210) have been scheduled across four tasks linked with a one-to-one relationship between its sub-activities and imposed continuity.

  • Superstructure (Figure 2):

    • Columns (B1010250) have been structured into ten takts plus Roof construction (B1020260) in a single activity without continuity.

    • The Slab-on-grade (A1030110) has been divided into four takts and requires two completed takts of Columns (B1010250) to start.

    • Beams (B1010330) requires two completed takts of Slab-on-grade (A1030110) to start.

    • Joist Girders (B1010464) activity is divided into ten takts, as Slabs (B1010370), and linked with a one-to-one relationship between them.

The remaining example is organized following the levels of the project (Figure 3), in such a way that three different takts divisions are used in one project, providing the most diverse organization possible according to the needs of the project phase.

Note that the model Clinic_Mechanical is not included in the federation.

You can include it by selecting it in the 3D manager, and and then editing its properties.
